Description
The STEELMAN 42168 1/4-Inch Drive 11/32-Inch 6-Point Single Socket is made from drop forged and heat treated chrome vanadium steel and features a ball detent recess on the 1/4-inch drive end to help it hold securely onto ratchets, adapters, and extensions. The 6-point design grips the sides of fasteners and not the corners, reducing wear and the chance of rounding the fastener. The socket has an attractive high polish chrome finish that provides increased rust and corrosion resistance that is easy to wipe clean when oily or dirty. Easy to read socket size callouts are hard stamped into the steel and won’t fade or rub away.
