Ensure brake shoes are adjusted for maximum contact with brake drums with the STEELMAN 61032 Drum Brake Resetting Gauge. This handy tool is designed to help measure the diameter of drum brakes and then compare that measurement to newly mounted brake shoes so adjustments can be made if necessary to ensure that when the pedal is pressed, the shoes make meaningful contact to slow the vehicle. Constructed of black painted steel for lasting durability, this gauge has hard stamped markings that will not fade or rub away from regular use. Calibrated in both metric and SAE scales, the tool can fit drums and shoes from 160mm to 360mm (6.3-inches to 14.2-inches) in size.
