Designed for the STEELMAN 97220 Mini EngineEAR Electronic Diagnostic Stethoscope and Vibration Detector (sold separately), this replacement clamp microphone amplifies and transmits sounds to allow users to listen to vehicle sounds and perform real time diagnostics during road tests to locate and identify troubling automotive noises. The attached 16-foot cable allows easy positioning on almost any vehicle location. Using this microphone clamp, you can easily pinpoint the exact location of noises that signal damaging wear and possible part failure connected to issues that cannot be duplicated in the garage repair stall and heard with a standard mechanic’s stethoscope.
